Pyrex love

My mom has pyrex dishes. She got them for a wedding present in 1962. Yes my parents will have been married for 50 years this year in November! I am extremely proud of that fact and of them.
This one here is just like the sets Mom has. She also has the mixing bowls. I found this one at a antique shop. They remind me of home, remind me of her. Mom has always used them. This particular size was even broken. She found a replacement at a different shop awhile ago that came with a lid. Since her lid wasn't broke (just the dish), and she didn't need two lids, she gave me the extra.
I also found this little beauty on the same trip.
She has the cutest lid!
Now, honestly, I know nothing about any of these being worth any money or any of that stuff, but I do love them. Like I said it just reminds me of home. And not to mention, they are way more fun to look at than the plain white or clear Pyrex that I got for my wedding:)
I also have a couple sets of mixing bowls that I guess I could have photographed. The primary colors set that is really popular. I got them at an auction before Slone was born. And Mom found me the brown and white set with the gold on them awhile ago. She also bought me a pink bowl that she ended up using and I'm pretty sure that I'm never going to actually get it! :)
What about you? Do you collect it? I'm not really wanting to have shelves and shelves of it. I want it for the reason it was made....to use it!

Apr 26 ,2012I’ve been browsing online greater than three hours today, but I never found any fascinating article like yours. It’s lovely value sufficient for
me. In my opinion,
if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you probably did, the
internet will likely be a lot more useful than ever before.
