So I have been sewing...just not a whole lot lately. But I have to get busy! MoreyGirl is going to be at the Spoon River Scenic Drive the first two weekends in October. I will be at "the Shed" which is just a few miles east of London Mills on Rt 116.
Here is a custom order that I just finished up for a sweet woman who I met at the Washington Cherry Festival. It's a reversible pinafore. I love the way it turned out!
Hey everyone! There is a sale going on at MoreyGirl! EtsyBaby is a team that I am a member of on Etsy. It's a great group of girls that cater especially to babies and mommies. Be sure to check us all out!

So the Washington Cherry Festival was pretty fun! Mom and my niece, Maggie, got to go with me. But, this is what it looked like on Friday...right at our scheduled set up time....
That was not so much fun, because a long line of storms came through, but I didn't know if we should stay or go home because they kept saying it was supposed to clear off. Actually, we did have a lot of laughs dragging our things in the tent, then back to the van, then twice more. We did end up going home though, and all of the festival activities were cancelled for the night.
We (me & Maggie) went back on Saturday. It was the most beautiful day. The sun was shining and a nice breeze was blowing. But since there was so much rain, it was still pretty muddy. We were saved by the baby wipes!
But here is how the tent looked, even though we did change it around a little bit later.
So back in April, I ordered this banner kit from MorganMoore! The kit was actually to make a "celebrate" banner, but I thought that a MoreyGirl banner would be a great way to display my name at craft fair booths. But look how nicely everything comes! All packaged together, ready to go. I didn't even have to cut any fabric.
So I can't decide which to make out of my new material! I would like your opinion on this one.
The flannel blankets that I have in my shop are great! I love them. They are warm without being a heavy blanket. They are easy to clean. Flannel also softens with every wash!
Minky is fun and super soft to begin with! It stays warms too. I love how these blankets feel!
It's all a matter of personal opinion. Let me know what you think by taking the poll on the right hand side of the page!
